Wet Bouldering

Wet Bouldering NI

Wet Bouldering, Ghyll Scrambling or Gorge Walking is an adventurous way of exploring a river. Scramble up waterfalls, traverse the rocks and jump into plunge pools. Our guides make this activity as adventurous as you want. A firm favourite amongst school, youth & hen / stag groups.

Each wet bouldering session lasts around 2.5 hours. Meeting at Bloody Bridge car park, Annalong, our guides will get you kitted out in wetsuit, buoyancy and helmet. Before undertaking a full safety brief.

Expect to get wet, crawl and scramble over rocks and jump into plunge pools. However the river is easily navigable by all abilities. Guides will tell you the history of the area en route. After that you will return to base to get changed and warmed up. Speak to our team at the time of booking and we can organise Hot Chocolate!

We operate a ‘challenge by choice’ policy but encourage you to give it a go. However rest assured that if you want to skip something out, we’ll respect your decision.

Wet Bouldering is a fantastic group activity that helps escape comfort zones and push boundaries. Above all it helps aid team work and to trust your team mates.
