Full Moon Paddle

Join us for a Full Moon Paddle on Strangford Lough. Firstly, the full moon is unique to witness from the water and no better place to do so, than from a kayak on a flat sea. The worm moon is so called as it herald’s the return of bird life due to the ground thawing signalling the end of winter. Departing at twilight you will be guided by an instructor for a paddle out onto Strangford Lough and around the islands. With a favourable forecast, we hope to have a great view of the stars and Moon. After that, we’ll return to base and enjoy some celestial story telling, hot chocolate & treats in the wee bothy on Sketrick.

Time: Meeting  at 18:00hrs to get kitted up, your tour will start shortly after. Wear swimsuit under your clothes if borrowing a wetsuit to avoid us witnessing two full moons!
