Hire our 24 foot Mobile Climbing Wall for any event. For instance, Church fetes to freshers fairs, corporate team building events to school sports days, fundraising challenges to family fun days – we bring the activity to you.
Our mobile climbing wall has an automatic belay system and are supervised by experience and qualified instructors. This eye catching activity allows up to 50 people to take part per hour. Therefore, with four different climbs on offer and different features to challenge all abilities.

Aside from climbing tower rental, you can add other activities to your event. For Instance, we also offer Archery, Laser Tag, Axe Throwing (12 years +) Team Games and watersports.

What we need to setup:
- An safe area with level/hard ground
- An open area of 6 Metres x 14 Metres to operate
- Height clearance of 25ft with no overhead power lines or cables
- Suitable access to the area by vehicle & large trailer (3M wide)
What setup time is required?
We require around an hour to park up, raise the climbing wall, set out the equipment and carry out all safety checks. The wall takes around 30 minutes to pack up and tow away.
What Capacity does the mobile climbing wall allow?
The climbing wall has four walls for participants to climb. Typically this allows for 40-60 participants per hour depending on age, ability and the number of instructors requested at the time if quotation.
What happens in adverse weather?
Operations may stop during heavy rain, thunder/lightning, or wind speeds exceeding 30mph.
Are there any participant restrictions?
Yes, there are restrictions on weight, height and attire.
Weight: Generally between 3 stone (23 kg) and 19 (108 kg)
Age/Height: It is recommended for children aged 5+ or 6+, with minimum heights of around 110 cm– 1.2 m
cmClothing: Casual clothes with comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended. Jewellery should be removed and hair tied back.
Have safety protocols are in place?
Strangford Lough Activity Centre have professional indemnity insurance and up to date risk assessments in place. They are provided on request. The wall is inspected annually and checked thoroughly before every use.
