Glamping accommodation in a bespoke glampsite overlooking Strangford Lough.

Strangford Lough Activity Centre & Glampsite will be offering a range of quirky Glamping options from Spring 2024. Unfortunately we have had  a delay offering this service due to planning and Covid 19.

Our Glamping site will include Bell Tents, Tipi’s, Yurt and a Geodesic dome. The campsite includes parking, toilets, showers, BBQ area and great views over Strangford Lough.

Glamping is perfect for families to enjoy a peaceful stay with spectacular views of Strangford Lough and the abundant wildlife.

Outdoor Activities

Add some of our outdoor activities to your glamping stay and explore Strangford Lough and the local countryside. With a range of events, experiences and Adventure tours, make this an adventure experience to remember.

Relax & Rejuvenate

Relax and Rejuvenate and enjoy a treatment at Skinn Therapy, or Pure Day Spa. De Stress with some yoga and reiki at Embrace.

Food & Drink

Wine and dine at Balloo House, The Poacher’s Pocket or Daft Eddy’s Bars and Restaurants. After that, why not try some traditional bread making with NI Food Tours. Visit Rademon Estate Distillery home of the infamous Short Cross Gin or maybe Farmageddon Beer is more to your taste?

Nearby Attractions

There are some great walking and cycling trails near to the glampsite with beautiful viewing points. Take a stroll, hire a bike or enjoy a trip out. For Instance; fantastic family attractions include Exploris Aquarium, The St Patrick’s Centre or Scrabo Tower. Similarly, stately homes and gardens nearby include Castle Ward, Rowallane Gardens or Mount Stewart. Above all, relax and enjoy your stay. Our clamping team will provide lots of local knowledge and itineraries to help you make the most of your visit.

We will also be offering bespoke activity camps at various designated campsites throughout the country in a range of Bell Tents & Tipi’s.
