Bespoke Events

Bespoke Events are suitable for groups that want something a bit special or different. Often it starts with an initial phone call to discuss your needs and requirements. Then we can work together to add some creativity.

Strangford Lough Activity Centre can tailor an event specifically for your group. Whether you choose to go Hill Walking in the Mournes, Wet Bouldering at Bloody Bridge or Paddle Boarding and Kayaking on the Quoile River, we can bring all the equipment to you.

Often we find event organisers want to setup an event for a group of friends or colleagues, but don’t want the hassle of collecting payment, informing people of start times and answering questions about what to bring. This is the page where we can offer all that on your behalf. All you have to do is send them the link.

Group Name: St John’s GAA

Date: Wednesday 16th July

Meeting Point: Sketrick Island Tipi’s

Time: 18:00 – 20:00. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to allow for kitting up.

This event is for the St John’s GAA only . Suitable for ages 10+. Participants must be water confident.

Paddle Boarding and Kayaking, a guided water sports session with instructors. Skills, techniques, games.

What’s Included:

• Wetsuits
• Buoyancy Aids
• Paddle
• Paddle Board & Leash or Kayak (if preferred)

What To Bring:

• Wear swimsuit under your clothes
• Wetsuit Boots / Water shoes
• Towel or Dry Robe
• Warm clothes to get changed into.

Nb. there are tipis to get changed in and a portaloo on site.
